| Grape varieties: 100% Barbera Harvest: October Average yield: 60 t/ha Vinification: Maceration on the skins for 12 days in stainless steel vats at controlled temperature. Alcohol content: 13,5% vol Bottle ageing: 3 months Characteristics: Very intense ruby-red colour, with garnet hints. Rich, complex, highly concentrated, deep nose. Overtones of red fruit and berries are particularly evident, with background notes of minty spices, vanilla and liquorice. Dry, full-bodied and well-structured flavour, a perfect blend of the varietal characteristics in a very soft and classy wine with great length. Team with: Full-flavoured meat dishes, roast meats, also with sauces, matured cheeses. Serving temperature: 18-20°C. Ageing potential: 10 years and over. |
